Hello, this week I will explain how to brew coffee and give some tips that we need to bear in mind. Before the coffee, shouldn't we have a piece of music?
(ノ>ω<)ノ Though the midterm is coming, don't be panic and enjoy the next few minutes~ =D
Do you notice I've uploaded this clip in my first post? The whole process looks difficult, but we can divide the time span into three parts, preparing, brewing and ending.
In the preparing process, you need to pour a particular amount of water about 75 Celsius into lower vessel and grind the beans whose grams depend on the volume of water (typically 100ml water for 7g coffee beans). Next, place the filter into upper vessel properly and pull the spring to fix the filter. Last, place the heater below the coffee maker. Here is some photo to make things clear.
Since the post will be too long to read, the other part will be in the next post><. Before learning the brewing step, you should know that coffee beans are vulnerable after heated since they are made of vegetable fibers. In the whole brewing and ending step, elegant stirring is important, or you will spoil the coffee and make it too bitter to drink.
Brewing coffee is ten thousand times as difficult as going to a convenience store to buy one~~Thanks for your sharing!
ReplyDelete-w- Indeed, brewing coffee is difficult, time-consuming work;however, the aroma of estate coffee and convenience store coffee are two completely different thing>< Though I sometimes go to pick up one~two cans of coffee .....
DeleteWow, the process of brewing coffee seems complicated.
ReplyDelete(I used to think that methods of brewing coffee is like brewing instant coffee. )
BTW, could you introduce the types of coffee? There are too many kinds of coffee for me to discriminate their difference. ><
I am still learning brewing coffee since the variety of coffee, and thus I only focus on vacuum coffee maker. Not like instant coffee, since we need to maintain a certain temperature to make coffee thoroughly cooked, the methods are complicated. But now some shop have sold ear bag coffee, a simpler way.

Ha ha, thank you for your explanation. The figure is quite cute and easy to understand.
DeleteSeems that as brewing the coffee, the smell of the coffee would growing more and more attractive. It always appealed me and I sipped some, but it's too bitter!
ReplyDeleteIndeed>< After brewing coffee, my dorm room is filled with coffee fragrance for hours. The espresso coffee is a little bit too strong, bitter to Asian. You can try the way, vacuum or drip, I introduced before and choose the beans, cultivated in Kenya or Ethiopia, like Yirgcheffe , known for its berry sourness without bitterness.
DeleteI agree that "elegant" stirring is important because it really need patient.
ReplyDeleteI want to know why we have to put a heater below the coffee maker
We want a cup of coffee without coffee beans, right? So, we use a filter between two vessel, heating the water, making the water go up and come down without coffee beans.
